Why don't I learn?

I made a mistake last week by saying that the computer room needed some organization...and before I knew it, the entire room was unloaded and carpet ripped up, painting being done, and flooring being put down. And of course, it couldn't be just a normal paint job...we had to paint checks on one wall, because our denim technique didn't work. This is our progress so far. It is really tough being married to a "metro-sexual" man. I'll keep you posted on the progress!

Amanda Got Her Braces OFF!

Mandy...as the ortho calls her...got her braces off today. After wearing either appliances or braces since she was eight years old...she is a new girl...and with a beautiful smile too!

We will post before pictures (6yrs ago) and after pictures as soon as we get them! She can't wait to eat an apple off the core or corn on the cob ON THE COB!

Part 1 of 2 Accomplished!

Nicole PASSED the written part of her drivers test this morning. Now...we wait for the actually driving test scheduled for May 12, 2008 at 9am.

Nicole says it is a bummer when your 16th birthday first of all lands on a Sunday and second of all on Mother's Day! I told her it was her own fault...she was 2 weeks over due, I had to be induced, and my first could have been Mother's Day I spent with people looking at me as though I would deliver any minute and saying, "You're still here!" She was born a day after Mother's Day thanks to drugs! Payback is sweet!

Happy Birthday Ultimate Man!

Many of you know that I grew up with Rob, we have been celebrating birthdays together for years. Since forever...I have called Rob the "Ultimate Man"! When we were in HS he used to wear an all black t-shirt with white letters that said...The Ultimate Man! Hence his title! I thought he was hot...actually still do!

Nicole is sooo SAD!

Nicole's beloved cat, Tarzan, is no longer with us! Nicole has had this cat for years. He was her cat, and only her cat. He had a huge problem with spraying that became way too much to control, especially since he started doing it indoors! Needless to say...she is in mourning! She has decided maybe she will become friends with Ollie, the family cat.

Great Friends...Good Times!!!

Our great friends from Spokane were down last week and we enjoyed spending the entire day with them on Sunday. The girls enjoyed talking and playing, and us adults had a great time chatting too!

Easter!

Easter pictures finally! I know...a bit behind schedule! We started the day with church and celebrating Christ's Resurrection. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at PF Chang's, visited a dear friend in the hospital, and then enjoyed dyeing Easter eggs with Grandma and Grandpa!

I made no plans to dye Easter eggs this year...Amanda was not happy about this. SO, Easter evening we went to Grandma's and Grandpa's and dyed eggs with Grandpa. If you look closely, Peachy was trying to get in on the action too! Grandpa didn't want to participate to begin with, but once he tried it he had a great time! We had some pretty eggs!

Jello Eggs - Nicole's Favorite

I didn't realize how much Nicole liked to do the jello eggs we have done for years. So, she decided to make them herself! But we all helped her eat them. As you can see...we were having a good time!
