Sneak Peak of James Blunt on Sesame Street

We present you Sesame Streets version of our favorite song from good times with Marina. When Marina came to the United States this was the only song she knew and when we found it on youtube with Sesame Street, we knew we had to post it:) Enjoy!

Sad News..

Sophie is gone. Yesterday Grandma and Grandpa took her back to her breeder. When a kitten does not go potty in the box this causes problems. Little Sophie didn't believe in using her litter box, and her owner doesn't really like to come home and have to clean up pee every half hour. I have been thinking about it and I do believe that she must have had feline luekemia. She was VERY tiny for her age and had many symptoms of feline luekemia. All this to say, no more kittens in this house..at least not for a while:)
(Do enjoy this cute picture though)

Gorge Camping Last Weekend!

Ricky had never been camping before, so before we had to put away the trailer for the winter, we decided to go out one more time so he could see what camping was like. He had a great time once he got used to the "toilet with no running water" and no night light (the bathroom light worked in a pinch!), and the scary furnace. I must say it is the earliest we have all gone to bed camping in years, but we were all exhausted. All that hiking, biking, walking and playing did us all in. We had beautiful crisp cool fall weather...and the best part...NO RAIN! And yes...we got to have Pietro's Pizza, Aunt Kelli on the way home!

Ricky meets his Godmother!

Aunt Kelli came over and spent most of the day with us on Saturday. We have had quite the busy schedules and haven't been able to connect a lot lately. She was as excited to meet Ricky as Ricky was to meet her. Ricky had some questions for her. "Are you my Godmother?" Which Kelli replied, "Yes, I am your Godmother and your aunt." Ricky then asked, "If you are my Godmother, than you grant all my wishes, right?" After a good laugh, we informed him later that she is the closet thing to a "fairy" godmother that there is, next to his grandmas and grandpa!

Amanda Plays JV Volleyball!

Amanda decided after tryouts this year that she wanted to play volleyball. Having never played before, she thought it would be fun and help her get ready for the basketball season. They just play the two other middle schools in our district, but they are having a lot of fun. And, Amanda is learning the game. She made 6 points in a row for the team yesterday! GO...Amanda!

Rasmussens Farms

Sunday, September 29th, we took a trip to Rasmussens Farm in Hood River. We had a great time, the weather was beautiful and we all got the pumpkin we wanted. This was Ricky's first time to a pumpkin patch. He had a difficult time deciding what pumpkin he wanted to bring home. We also bought some yummy apples and grandma made some yummy applesause. The corn maze was fun too!
