No photo to post of our new son. We were not chosen as the "forever family" for Luis. The roller coaster of emotions is at an all time low right now, but we are looking forward to the upturn soon!
We have been chosen for another committee for twin boys that are 7 1/2 yrs old. Their names are Jason & Jacob. The date for the panel has not yet been set, but it should be within the next couple of months.

Hey guys...I've been praying for you. I can't imagine what it must be like for you right now, especially trying to keep the idea of "God's Plan" in perspective. Those lucky little guys are waiting for your family. Isn't it amazing to think that God picked them out for you before they were born?!? What a special family you are!
Ohh, I will PRAY that it is God's will that you get those twins!! That would be such a cool addition to your family! (Hey, check out Patrick & Jennifer's blog link off of our blog for some 'real-world-older-kid' adoption stories.)...it might curb your eagerness to have a son placed ASAP. :-)
My heart goes out to you guys. But take comfort in knowing God is the one who forms our families and HE is taking great care in selecting yours. I pray the time of waiting will go by quickly and you will be able to look back upon this time and see HIS finger prints all over your lives. Keep close to the Lord and wait upon HIS perfect timing.
