Ricky's 9th Birthday!

It is hard to believe that the little boy we first met only 8 short months ago has become such a part of our forever family! This is Ricky's first ever birthday party...and he is having two of them! He is sooo excited.

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter. The Easter bunny did show up here. We had a great church service and dinner with Debbie's folks. Followed by a great egg hunt for all the kiddos and even remembered to pose for a few photos. Us adults even got in a nap while the kiddos played the Wii! And as if all that wasn't enough, Grandma made fresh strawberry pie for dessert! Yummy!

Rob's Birthday!

Rob's birthday started with breakfast in bed...delivered by Amanda! She actually served mom too!

An early dinner at PF Changs...one of Rob's favorite destinations.

Followed by presents and cake at Grandpa and Grandmas house. I dare to say he had a pretty good day.

Egg Decorating!

This was Ricky's first time ever dyeing Easter eggs. The five of us had a lot of fun! Now to do the eating of them!

Sunday at the Park!

Sunday, April 5th at the park...the kids begged grandpa and grandma to join us for a McDonalds picnic lunch! It was a beautiful but quite brisk day!

I am going to be in soooo much trouble for posting these photos...but I didn't want all of you to miss out on the fun we had!

Grandma and Grandpa were really good sports about this outing...even though they were freezing to death! We will wait to ask them again when it gets much warmer!

Well, the week of my birthday we bought a new to us car...and the week of Rob's birthday we bought the washer and dryer. I think I WON! :-)

Happy Birthday Ultimate Man!

Happy Birthday, Rob! This picture is from back in our dating days (March 1982). He was and is my "Ultimate Man!" When God gave me a husband, he couldn't have blessed me more than he did. I married my best friend, high school sweetheart and love of my life. Thanks for being a great hubby, father to our children and friend. You are a great example to us each and every day. I thank God for you. We would be lost with out you! Happy Birthday Rob! <3
