Nicole has Tubes!

Nicole's tube surgery was successful! She can hear better, fluid is draining, and we are almost over the pain. YEAH!!! What a way to spend your spring break, huh?
She wasn't too happy that she wasn't in the pediatrics section of the hospital though. No wagon ride, no bathroom or TV in your room, and no game system! And, they hook you up to all the IV's and equipment while you are awake. She decided she would like to go back to being a kid! She said being an adult "sucked"! Welcome to the real world, sweetie!

Nicole & Nancy's Baking Extravaganza!

For Focus Class at school, Nicole and her friend, Nancy, had to pick a career from certain categories. They decided to be a baker! Which was hilariously funny to me, because Nicole hates to cook! Everything had to be from scratch, no box mixes, everything fresh.


Here I thought that they were doing so good...and they forgot to spray the pan with non-stick spray!

But, I have to admit that the final product, was not only BEAUTIFUL, but DELICIOUS! The took it to school, and no one could believe they made it. They got to share some with the teachers and then we got to try it! Yum, Yum!

Amanda's 12th Birthday...Part 2

Saturday night, March 17th, we celebrated Amanda's birthday with Bah & Papa, Gramma & Aunt Kate & Jason, Aunt Sharon, Aunt Kelli, Uncle Alan & Aunt Lisa, Laura & Pammie.
We enjoyed dinner, cake & ice cream together.


A cowgirl with a Cinderella hand bag?



Okay...we got the girls the same things and wanted them to be able to use them next month when we go to Disneyland. If we waited to give Nicole hers on her birthday in May, she wouldn't have been able to use them. So, they openned them together!

Two cakes...six candles each...a cowboy boot and a horse pasture!

And two little cousins, Laura & Pammie, to help lick off the candles. What a fun night we had!

All Cowgirl Party!!

It was a cowgirl party extravaganza! Here Amanda poses with her 4 friends! It was a beautiful day, so we got to do a lot of our activities outside.

We had a tin can and bottle shot out...with water guns!

We had a sunflower seed spit out! And not pictured, we played horseshoes, played lots of fun games with peanuts and listened to a lot of country music and did some line dancing.

Of course we had cupcakes! And sang Happy Birthday to Amanda!

Amanda may be a cowgirl...but she will always be a Princess first!

Amanda's good friend Anna found her not only a giraffe bag...but in orange yet!

HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY AMANDA!

Amanda turned 12 yrs old today...hard to believe that this was her 12 yrs ago. She is being held by her great grandma Martha.
We love you, Amanda! Back then, we had no idea how much fun you would be. You are a blessing to us.

Amanda thinks David Harsh Rocks!

Amanda just returned from a weekend at Lakeside Bible Camp in Washington. She had an absolutely awesome weekend. She can hardly wait to go back for a whole week sometime this summer. She is starting to save already! Anyways, one of her favorite parts of the weekend was the special music guy, David Harsh. Her favorites are WARRIORS OF PRAYER, SAMPLE OF ITALIAN OPERA, & FOUR LIMBS where he plays two guitars at the same time! She loves all of his songs!!!

Puzzle Addiction!

OKAY...Nicole and I love puzzles...and we even got Rob into the action this weekend. Nicole and I finished these two puzzles (with Rob's help) in 3 days. 2 - 500 piece puzzles. We don't dare start another one less we won't get a thing done! Here are the two we did!
