HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY NICOLE!!!

Nicole with her Great Grandma Martha at 2 days old above, who passed away when Nicole was 9 1/2 yrs old. Rob's dad, Gramps Harding, with Nicole at 3 days old, who passed away suddenly when Nicole was 1 1/2 yrs old.
Nicole we are very proud of you and the beautiful young woman you are becoming! You make your family proud. Happy 15th Birthday, yesterday, Friday, May 11th! We love you!

We Had Our 1st Meeting!

Last night, Rob and I had our first meeting with Christian Family Adoptions! It was so exciting! It was a general information session, with answers to our specific questions. We also got to look thru a picture book of waiting children...which eventually I had to put away, because I wanted to take most of them home with me. Anyways, we have officially finished our application process and paid our application fee as well, and now we are waiting for all of our references to come in, our criminal background check, and our doctors letter to arrive at the adoption agency. Once those are received, we will be able to start our home study process. They say that should start in 4 - 6 weeks. Then we are signed up for an intensive class one weekend in July. Once we have been certified to adopt thru the state, we go back to looking thru the picture books of waiting children and begin our selection process.
